The next version of Mac OS X, 10.5 (also known as Leopard) will include Ruby 1.8.4 along with Rails 1.1.2. In addition, Mongrel, SQLite bindings, and other Ruby goodies may be included. Check out the Rails weblog for the official word.

New Mac Pro Ups the Ante

Well, Apple has done it again. According to MacMerc.com, Apple is set to release a new Mac Pro, a quad Xeon, 64-bit desktop workstation. The very thought makes me shudder with anticipation (showing just how much of a geek I really am). I will have to check the budget and my desktop space to make room for that baby!
