Where is the ADS podcast?
By: Robert Dempsey | Tags:I must apologize to everyone. I missed the last deadline for a release of the ADS Podcast, and for that I apologize. Things have been hectic around here as those of you that know me know. To give a little perspective, I just graduated from Rollins with a CS degree (I was on the extended plan) two weeks ago, I start my MBA on Friday (with a hectic five day long orientation), my wife is expecting our first child around the 13th (daughter Palamee), we hired Jon Cummins a few weeks ago and are bringing him up to speed, we launched ADS Mantis, I finished up my third article for the Amazon Developer Connection (coming soon), and then there were two holidays back to back, where I was fortunate enough to spend some time with my family. I have also been reading like crazy, moving the 200+ rss feeds I read to Google reader (quite simple actually - thank you Google), and of course have been trying to drum up more attendance for acts_as_conference, the two-day Rails conference we are holding here in Orlando February 8th and 9th. There are 100 tickets left. We have a superb lineup of speakers, and for $100, you can’t beat the value.
I promise to get back on track this weekend and release the next podcast this coming Monday. A big thank you goes out to the 6,254 people who downloaded the podcast in December. That makes it all worth while (and helps justify equipment cost to the boss ;). Any and all feedback on the podcast is welcome and appreciated, as well as topics you would like us to cover. Positive or negative, post your comments here. I won’t delete any of them (unless they are blatantly abusive).
You can also catch up with me online on LinkedIn, Twitter, Mixx, and Google.
