The Rails core team has released Release Candidate 1 of Rails 2.0. They suggest upgrading first to 1.2.5, fix any deprecation warnings, and then make the move to RC1. A backup probably wouldn’t hurt either. Read the official release and find out why should care about Rails 2.0
